I am Megan, owner and photographer at Megan Bourn Photography! I have been in business for over 13 years.... yes makes me feel old! I first started taking photos of my kids then my friends kids and my business grew from there.
My favourite sessions are newborn, these are what I live for. The squishy cheeks and cute little fingers and toes and just so adorable. I love meeting new parents and capturing their first family photos which I know they will treasure forever. My style is natural and all very neutral, I love keeping things simple and making it all about the baby.

I am a foodie, I love nothing more than going for breakfast with friends. These brunch dates are what makes my week! I enjoy cooking when I have time as well. You can find some of my favourite foods on my instagram highlights!

I have so many useless ideas in my head, when I say useless I mean things that I just know. Like how to get white clothes white, how to clean a washing machine. A friend says to me all the time that I need to write a book of all these things!

I live in Somerset with my husband and 2 kids. Marli and Takiri are the reason I chose to explore photography as a career. I started photographing them when they were small, then it became a job I could do and work around school, sport and I was always there to drop off and pick up from school.

I wanted to be a photographer from when I was in High School. I didn't get accepted into the camera club and was devastated. I think I've made up for it now!

Megan is an amazingly, talented photographer, my 3 children have had Christmas photos taken with her every year since I can remember. ❤️
With the eldest being a teen now I keep wondering whether this year will be the last time I can convince them to go along and have the annual Xmas pic done for me, but Megan is so fabulous that they still want to go! 🥰
They’re such lovely momentos to have, I’ll treasure them forever. ❤️

Megan Bourn aka “Baby whisperer” takes the most amazing newborn photos. Has a knack for making your newborn look absolutely scrumptious. Her images are up there with the best I’ve seen from newborn photographers in the big smoke. Worth every penny

We had our newborn photos with the lovely Megan with all three of our boys. Megan is friendly, patient, caring, funny and kind. She is amazing with children and won our boys over with her warm nature which enabled her to capture beautiful photos of our family. Each time has been a little more tricky capturing the perfect shot with our crazy toddlers running around the studio but she has nailed it every time. I would 100% recommend Megan for newborn and family photos, her talent is incredible, the photos are amazing and we will absolutely cherish them forever.

We have had a number of photoshoots with Megan including maternity, newborn, our wedding, Christmas minis, and cake smash session. Each and every time she has made us feel welcomed and relaxed. She is a baby whisperer when it comes to getting newborns to sleep, and she is quick to snap that photo of the cheeky toddler who is quick on his feet. I would definitely recommend her to anyone wanting that special memory captured.
